In addition to the purpose and need, the following goals and objectives will guide project development.

Several deficiencies within the study area have been identified based on engineering studies. Corrective action is necessary to safely and effectively accommodate traffic. The following is a list of improvements to these identified deficiencies within the study area.

• Improve capacity and safety at the intersections of SR315 and Orange Road, and SR315 and Carriage Road.
• Address and improve additional sight distance issues in the study area.
• Fulfill the requirements set forth by the roadway functional classification.
